Fifty Shades Of Grey – Official Trailer

Comments Off on Fifty Shades Of Grey – Official Trailer 107

Today I decided to watch the Fifty Shades of Grey trailer. It was definitely different to a lot of the trailers I have watched, considering I am more of an action guy. However, I wanted to write about something outside of my comfort zone.

Firstly, I have not read the book. My only experience with the hit novel is a video where Cry, a YouTube personality, reads from one of the more explicit pages. Since then, I have been afraid to pick up the book as the video succeeded in mentally scarring me for life. Thanks Cry.

So, what is it about?

It follows Anastasia Steele, a female reporter, who goes to interview the head of a massive corporation, Christian Grey. They fall in love, as you would expect from any movie released on Valentine’s Day, and all that saucy stuff is destined to happen in the full movie.

I understand that some women were initially disappointed that Jamie Dornan (Marie Antoinette, Beyond the Rave) was cast as Mr Grey, and I can sorta see why. He doesn’t seem to fit as the businessman, but pulls off the other scenes. Despite that, he is higher in my list than some of the suggestions I have seen on the internet such as Robert Pattinson and Ryan Gosling.

As I will be 18 when it hits the cinemas, I so want to go to see how many women have left the partners at home to watch Fifty Shades Of Grey, or how many partners have taken their other halves as a treat. If there isn’t at least one proposal during the film, I will be disappointed as what is better than getting down on one knee while Mr Grey goes down on Ms Steele?
